School officials say Bowling Green High School is out of a brief lockout after a reported weapon across the street.Bowling Green police say they received a call around 1:20 p.m. Tuesday about a person possessing a weapon in the Ross Medical building on Rockingham Avenue. Police say they detained the subject and determined he legally pos stanley cups uk sessed the weapon and did not violate any laws.BGPD also says it was in close communication with the BGHS school resource officer and asked the school to enter a precautionary lockout. Police say they immediately communicated with the school when they learned no threat existed.In addition, Bowling Green Independent School District released the following statement:At approximately 1:20 p.m. on Aug. 29, 2023, Bowling Green High School went into a brief lockout due to a reported weapon across the street at the Ross Medical Building.
